Where are these valves generally used?
These are high-grade 316 stainless steel ball valves with high temperature polymer seats and stem seals. They can be used in many applications where temperatures will exceed the limits of most PTFE/Teflon seated valves, such as hot oil, deep fat fryer drains or superheated steam.
Can I use these valves for throttling a flow?
These high temperature ball valves should only be used in a full open or full closed position at temperatures over 200C/400F. Damage to the seat may occur if used for throttling at very high temperatures.
