"L-Type" valves have 2 holes through the ball at a 90 degree angle to each other.
Looking at the top of the valve creates the shape of the letter "L". Usually used for DIVERTING a flow.
"T-Type" valves have 3 holes through the ball.
Looking at the top of the valve creates the shape of the letter "T". Usually used for MIXING two flows.
